Learning Spaces for Health Care Education: Best Practices in Design

At the AAMC's Annual Meeting in November, colleagues from education, educational technology, information technology and facilities management came together to present a panel discussion on the design of learning spaces for health science education. This white paper grew out of that panel discussion and was produced as a joint project between the AAMC's Group on Institutional Planning, Group on Information Resources, and Group on Educational Affairs.

The White Paper was edited by CRIME member, Kevin H. Souza, MS, Assistant Dean for Medical Education at UCSF and CRIME member, Jenn Stringer, Director for Educational Technology at Stanford University SOM contributed the section on the Role of an Educational Technologist in designing learning spaces.
